This year celebrates the five-year anniversary of Aston Knowles Chartered Surveyors and Estate Agents. And an amazing five years it has been!
The agency was set up in January 2014 by director Sophie Bullock, just a few days after receiving the keys to their iconic clock tower offices on the Sutton Coldfield High Street from Knight Frank, who previously occupied the offices prior to Aston Knowles.
Sophie Bullock’s vision when she set up the agency was to bring a fresh approach to the Sutton Coldfield housing market by constantly working ‘outside the box’. She has made this into a reality by ensuring she and her team always go the extra mile for their clients, vendors and purchasers alike.
The success of the agency speaks for itself, as Aston Knowles have, since their foundation in 2014, sold over £131 million worth of premium properties in the Sutton Coldfield area, achieving an average asking price of just over £900,000.
In 2018, the team celebrated the sale of the most expensive house to have transacted in Sutton Coldfield since 2010. Four Oaks House, located on Ladywood Road on the prestigious Four Oaks Estate, one of the most highly sought-after areas in the West Midlands, sold for a breath-taking £3,425,000. The impressive six-bedroom Arts and Crafts residence, which takes up over 8000 square feet on a plot of approximately two-thirds of an acre, also features an extensive leisure complex and a cinema room.
Before this, Aston Knowles secured the sale of an impressive Georgian-style contemporary home on Roman Road in the Little Aston area, for the awe-inspiring sum of £3,150,000. Both sales have been confirmed as breaking the record for two of the most expensive house sales in the West Midlands in the last five years, an achievement Sophie and the team at Aston Knowles are very proud of.
On top of these exceptional achievements, Sophie was also awarded the title of Young Surveyor of the Year in the residential category by the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors.
For its fifth birthday, Aston Knowles has planned a number of prestigious and exclusive events. A luxurious Ladies Beauty and Style Day at Harvey Nichols in the Mailbox in Birmingham is only the first in a string of birthday celebrations. Other events include a Golf Day, an Auction Valuation Day, and a Birthday Celebration at Aston Knowles’ very own stunning High Street offices.
The future at Aston Knowles looks promising, with the launch of multiple new premium properties in the last two weeks alone, among which are two exclusive homes on Hartopp Road; set on the exquisite Four Oaks Estate, a five-bedroom home in Streetly Wood; set in idyllic grounds with south-facing gardens, a charming family home on Bishops Road with spacious mature gardens and located close to the centre of Sutton Coldfield, and an impressive residence with breath-taking gardens on the grounds of the well-regarded Rangemore Hall.
One of Aston Knowles’ distinguishing features is their ‘off-market’ page. Exclusively for members, this page is reserved for executive properties that are not advertised anywhere else on the internet, whether that be the main Aston Knowles website or portals such as Rightmove and Zoopla. If you are interested in becoming an off-market page member, click here to sign up. One of our team will get in contact to discuss your needs and set you up with your personal log in details.
The focus at Aston Knowles to ensure exceptional client care and pro-active communication, combined with an experienced team that is willing to go the extra mile has produced results that speak for themselves. With over 150 premium houses sold over the last five years, the agency has built a reputation for itself as an exceptional estate agency service. Sophie Bullock expands by saying that she hopes they can ‘continue to build on our now established brand for many years to come’.
